All The Bright Places: Book Review

Theodore Finch is a boy who is mentally ill and keeps thinking about ways he might kill himself.

On the other hand, Violet Markey was a popular cheerleader who is devastated by her older sister, Eleanor’s death.

They both meet on the ledge of the tower bell at school and so the story begins.

Soon, both of them pair up for a project to discover the natural wonders of their state, Indiana. While they “wander” around Indiana, they both get closer and realize that it’s only when they are with each other, they live in the present and to the fullest.

While Violet’s world begins to re-bloom, Finch’s world starts to shrink.

Everything, Everything (Movie Review)

Everything, Everything is a book (and a movie) about a girl called Madeline Whittier (aka Maddy) who has SCID which basically means that she is allergic to everything.

She hasn’t left her home for 17 years, because if she did, she would die.

Maddy’s mom is a doctor and she has a nurse called Carla who watches her when she’s out.¬†

Her life is all boring and unexciting, until a hot and sweet guy named Olly moves in next door. They both start texting, become friends and soon start dating.

So one day, Maddy decides that she wants to see the world and goes to Olly’s house and lies to him that she isn’t sick anymore and they both take a flight to Hawaii where she later falls sick and almost dies.

When she returns back to her home, she finds out the one big secret her mother has been keeping away from her.
